The Slippers of Buffalo Skin Verse 1

Once, in a time long past, there were a pair of slippers made of buffalo skin belonging to a prince. When took them off, he put them on a rack in the kitchen. Mice stared and wished to eat them.

The Slippers were no ordinary because they can spoke to another. They asked to become mice because they were afraid that they might be dined by the mice and their wish granted. But after that they wanted become cats because they felt unsafe for the present of the cats. They sent up prayer to become dogs because when their paws outside the house they were set upon by dogs.

When they beaten with the rice stampers and chased away by the villager they wish to become human beings. But they were felt dissatisfaction because when they become human they were to perform a variety task from village chief, so they wished to become courtiers and their wish granted. They were even awakened from a deep sleep to perform some duty or other for His Majesty. So they wanted become a Prince and Princess but they were not at peace with their enemies. And the end they wished become God, their wished weren’t granted but they became slippers again.

And the end they wished become God so they were have all-powerful but their wish weren’t granted at the very moment they were became Slippers again as when the story began.
